Bach 42 tenor trombone is a professional large bore trombone with an 8½ ” hand-hammered bell in yellow brass. This is an all-round trombone suitable for both symphonic music and solo performances.

The yellow brass bell is hand-hammered and a so-called one-piece bell. The diameter is 8½ inches. This iconic bell has a symphonic sound and sits on all of Bach's trombones in the Model 42 series.

The Bach 42 tenor trombone is a large bore trombone, the instrument bore is 0.547 inches. A large-bore gives a clear tone with good projection.
