Bach Stradivarius 42BOF Centennial
Bach Stradivarius 42BOF Bb-F trombone
The 2018 Bach 42BOF Centennial tenor trombone is Bach's 100th-anniversary model. For the 42BOF Centennial, Bach has designed a brand new valve, which they call open-flow valve. Jay Friedman of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra has been involved in developing the model.
The Bach 42BOF has the popular 42 bell in yellow brass, the Centennial model also has extra engravings.
The new Open-flow valve, developed in Europe in collaboration with German Meinlschmidt, makes it easy to play in the low register without compromising with the flexibility in the high register.
Technical specifications:
- Yellow brass one-piece bell (8½ ”)
- European designed open-flow rotor valve
- Traditional 42 slide
- Bach 3416HA mouthpiece
- Large bore (.547 ")
NOTE: 42BOF is available with lightweight slide and without engravings (like Stradivarius). Please, contact us to order these models.
