• Late-model with Electro-D bell and seamless Coprion lead pipe.
• Model: 28A (the cornet version of the 38B Connstellation trumpet)
• Produced between 1955 and approx. 1969.
• Produced in the town of Elkhart, which is known for its good quality brass instruments.
• Nickel-plated with brass trim
• Bell: 5 1/8 ”

The Connstellation cornet 28A is created as a professional instrument. Some musicians use the model as a trumpet with a smaller deep mouthpiece with a narrow shank. Then the sound becomes more brilliant and trumpet-like. If you use a mouthpiece with a deeper cup and wider shank, you achieve the traditional slightly darker cornet sound.
