pBone Mini Eb Alto Trombone

Alto and Bb-trombone developed in collaboration with Jiggs Whigham. 

Alto:

• Bore: Small ("0.500) 
• Weight: 800 gr
• Colors: Blue or red
• Glass fiber slide 
• Includes plastic mouthpiece (regular mouthpieces can also be used) 
• Includes soft bag

The pBone is a trombone made of ABS plastic. The advantage of this is first and foremost that it makes the instrument cheaper to produce than traditional brass trombones. It's also a much lighter material, which makes them easier for kids to handle. Of course, the sound is not as good as brass trombones, but they're well on their way and a great place to start.
