Bach Stradivarius 42BG Bb-F trombone
Bach 42BG tenor trombone with traditional rotor valve and gold brass bell is the perfect professional instrument for symphonic music and solistic performances.
The gold brass bell is hand-hammered from a single piece of brass and has a diameter of 8½ inches. This iconic bell has a symphonic tone and sits on all Bach trombones in 42 series. The material gold brass is brass with a higher content of copper than yellow brass (used on Bach 42). Gold brass has a little bit different sound qualities, than yellow brass. Typically players experience warmer sound and more overtones.
The Bach 42BG is a large bore trombone with a .547 inch bore. The combination large bore, traditional F-wrap and quarter valve provide a very good clarity of tone, really good projection and perfect air resistance.
The Bach 42BG tenor trombone comes with standard slide; chrome-plated nickel silver inner slide and brass outer slide. It is possible to order Bach 42BG tenor trombone with light-weight slide. Please contact us if you think this will suit you better.
