Alto clarinet
The alto clarinet is most often tuned in E flat and extends to a natural G flat in the second octave below the middle C.
There is not much solo repertoire for the alto clarinet, but it is often used in wind orchestra music from the 20. century. The alto clarinet has the advantage that its strong clarion register sounds as the B flats weak middle register.
All of our clarinets are adjusted and readied at our specialist workshop, and are sold with a 12 months guarantee of unlimited access to adjustments.
