Trumpets for schools and beginners
As a beginner you start out on the Bb trumpet. This is the most used trumpet among players all over the world and it's the instrument we talk about when we just say "trumpet". We recommend starting with Yamaha's student model YTR-2330, because it has a great sound, is easy to play and lasts longer than any other student model on the market.
Yamaha YTR-2330: Our preferred trumpet for beginners. Comes with mouthpiece, gigbag and oil
Yamaha YTR-4335G II: A step up from the 2330. A slightly more robust instrument with a warmer and more open sound. -
Trumpets for the intermediate player
After a few years most players want to upgrade to a better instrument. At this point you might be looking for a trumpet with a more open sound, a different trigger system or an instrument that is particularly well suited for a certain genre. Our big selection of trumpets makes it possible to find exactly the instrument you are looking for. In this category we recommend:
Stomvi Forte: Hand built in Valencia. High quality, good intonation and a medium large bore, well suited for several different genres.
Yamaha YTR-6345G Has a slightly larger bore that provides more volume. The gold brass bell creates a warmer sound.

Trumpets for the professional player
We are always ready to provide guidance to ensure you find the exact qualities you are looking for, when you are investing in a new instrument. We carry a large selection of Yamaha's Bach's and Schilke's professional models. For many years the Bach 180 ML has been the standard for classical players, but the last few years there has been an increased interest in the newer models from other brands, especially Yamaha. We recommend the following models:
Yamaha Chicago: For the symphonic player this is an absolutely stellar instrument. This top of the line model from Yamaha has been developed in collaboration with John Hagström.
Bach Stradivarius 180ML: The time proven standard for professional Bb trumpets sine the 1950's. This model exists in several variations with different bores and materials.
Yamaha Los Angeles: Yamaha lead trumpet for the session musician. The model has been warmly received by professional players in the jazz scene.
Schilke HC-1: A hand built trumpet for the jazz people. Inspired by the Martin Comitee which was played by Miles Davis, Chet Baker and Lee Morgan spillede på. Extra large bore that requires a LOT of air, but comes with great rewards. If you are looking for a unique world class instrument we recommend you try i.K.Gottfried's own trumpets. Our highly skilled technician Oscar has spent years developing these trumpets, that have harvested rave reviews from players from all over the world.
