KGE Acolyte oboe is a professional instrument made of grenadilla-like synthetic material, to be played in extreme temperature conditions and humidity. The bore is turned and not molded, which gives the oboe many acoustic qualities similar to a professional oboe in wood.

The oboe has undercut tone holes and silver-plated semi-automatic mechanics and stainless steel screws. Thanks to the synthetic material and the minimal need for maintenance, KGE can offer this fantastic combination of a professional and inexpensive oboe.
