The Selmer Concept ebonite mouthpiece has a warm and full sound, and offers a bit more resistance than other Selmer mouthpieces, which makes it favored by classical soprano saxophonists.

The tone is rich and and homogenous and while it takes a bit more effort to play, it is by no means inaccessible.

This mouthpiece is a slightly broader than traditional soprano mouthpieces, which makes the switch between alto and soprano easier.
