For nearly 150 years Jean-Baptiste Arban's 14 studies have been an essential part of a brass player's practice routine. In this edition, some of the dynamics and articulation have been changed to obtain more consistency throughout the studies. Also the Pianist John Alley has made an accompaniment, that is recorded in various tempi on a CD and even included in print.
