About profile 88:
The difference between profile 88 and traditional mouthpieces is the exterior angle of the beak. Some musicians might find that sound projection, playing comfort and articulation is better on a profile 88 mouthpiece. To find out what is right for you, it is necessary to try and compare different models until you find the right one.
Séries 13:
The mouthpieces marked with Séries 13 are produced for the American market, where it is more common to tune in a lower pitch (440hz). A séries 13 mouthpiece could be a solution, if you tend to play a little bit too high in pitch.
The mouthpiece has a 103,5 (1/100 mm) tip opening and a long facing. Vandoren recommends the following reeds for the mouthpiece:
