Buffet Crampon S1 Alto Sax # 241555

Professional saxophone from Buffet Crampon model S1 from approx. 1976. S1 was produced until 1985 and is the successor to Buffet's popular model Super Dynaction. The S1 model has been a big inspiration in the development of Buffet's latest model Senzo, and parts of the design from the S1 has been reused on the Senzo model. In other words, this is a very good piece of craftsmanship with many unique details:

Details:

Durable keyworks
Original lacquer
A cut-out on the neck for the high f sharp, which is positioned on the neck receiver
"Resonance chamber" in the neck - increases response in all registers (at least that is the idea behind the detail)
Unique design on Eb / C key

The saxophone has been overhauled at our workshop and is sold including the original case and without the mouthpiece.
